o Hardy County Local Emergency Planning Council (LPEC) - Ken Pack
o Hardy County Parks and Recreation Commission – Max Park
o Community Development Committee – Philip Fertig / Max Park
§ Mr. Funkhouser: Commended Dave Wilbur for the outstanding job he does as Attendance Director and as Sports Writer for the Moorefield Examiner.
§
Mr. Williams: Commended the
MHS Baseball team – they are a great bunch of seniors.
Noted how pleased he is with how far we have come with the Bond Proposal
– getting ready to go.
§ Mr. Pack: Commended Mr. Armentrout and the seniors for taking their time to come to the meeting – especially for students who have graduated. Extended appreciation for the comments and attitude of Mr. Armentrout.
§ Mr. Fertig: Echoed the other commendations and also extended appreciation to the Truancy Diversion programs, their services will be missed next year.
§
Mr. Park: Also echoed the
previous commendations. Reported
that Energy Express started today, and his son came home very positive.
It is off to a great start. Commended
the students’ participation in the State FFA Convention and wished both high
schools and MMS good luck.
§ Mr. Whetzel: Pointed out that the new Board folders are “green” for this year. Like a stoplight signal; this it an indication that Hardy County Schools is ready to go. Extended appreciation to the new / returning Board members for their dedication and service to the students and community of Hardy County.
