following is provided as an unofficial summary of the above dated meeting of the
Hardy County Board of Education. Official

Prior to the start of the meeting the Board participated in a two-hour training session with Howard O’Cull, Executive Director of the WVSBA. The Board reviewed the results of the Self Assessment Questionnaire conducted by the WVSBA.
In other actions:
Ms. Whitecotton, Assistant Superintendent, provided the Board with information on the professional development plans for school improvement for the upcoming school year.
The Board reviewed the revisions to Graduation Policy IDK and approved these for the upcoming school year.
The Board was informed that the State Board of Education has requested to change the visiting date to Hardy County to the spring of 2006.
The annual report on grievance activities was presented to the Board. There was one Level IV Grievance filed against the Board, and it was denied by the State.
