SUMMARY
Presentations: Debbie Hubbard and Michelle Holstein, on behalf of the Reading First Teachers at East Hardy Early Middle School, presented a series of video clips from the school. Jane Joplin, on behalf of the 4-H Camp Pinnacle Association met with the Board to review the agreement for usage of Camp Pinnacle. The Board agreed to modify the agreement to permit annual reservation of time at the Camp for Hardy County Schools in return for a set fee. This would clarify past agreements and serves to benefit both the Camp and the School System.
Deputy Brian Ward, School Resource Officer, presented an update to the Board on the activities for the past month. The Board also reviewed the procedure for setting up the Moorefield Intermediate School Steering Committee that will work with the architectural firm to begin design on the school.
