Announcement of Governor’s Academy for Teacher Excellence

WV Center for Professional Development (CPD) has announced on their website the numerous classes being offered by the Governor’s Academy for Teacher Excellence-(GATE ). Please forward the website address to those of your staff who need credits and who have usually enrolled in RESA’s summer seminar series. Three credits are available from WVU and/or Marshal, undergraduate credit is also available for certain classes. This may be of help to your support staff.

The offering from GATE is a result of collaboration between the CPD and RESA VIII. I am very pleased with the program offered by CPD and hope to be able to continue to work with them on professional development for your staff in the future. If you have an opportunity to speak with any of the CPD staff, please let them know how much this means to your teachers.
