The Hardy County Board of Education will accept applications through 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, for the following Professional Educators positions for the 2008-2009 school year:
? Spanish / ESL Teacher – Countywide, 200 day employment term, must be certified to teach Spanish I in High School.
? English / Language Arts Teacher – Moorefield High School, Grades 9-12, Must be willing to complete AP summer training, complete, and utilize Accelerated Reader program in instruction.
? Art Teacher – East Hardy Schools, must be certified in Art K-12
The Hardy County Board of Education will accept applications through 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 for the following Athletic Positions for the 2008-2009 school year. The following extra curricular positions do no require, or include a regular employment position; however, prefrence is given to those individuals with a professional educator’s certification:
? Athletic Director – Moorefield High School, employment term spans the 2008-2009 school year. $1,800.00 & 4% of teaching salary. WV Teacher Certification for the appropriate teaching assignment, employee of Hardy County Schools, three years coaching experience desired.
? Varsity Boys’ Basketball Coach – East Hardy High School, 2008-2009 school year, $1,250.00 + 4% of teaching salary.
? Varsity Cheerleading Coach – East Hardy High School, 2008-2009 school year, $1,250.00 + 4% of teaching salary.
Varsity Golf Coach – East Hardy High School, 2008-2009 school year, $850.00 +2% of teaching salary.
