About The School  

Our Motto: The Main Thing is to keep the Main Thing the Main Thing.

MES provides education to grades Pre-K through 2nd grade.  Our current enrollment is 391 students. 

We have 4 classrooms for PreK students and 5 classrooms (each) in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade.     

CORE BELIEFS:

  1. All students can learn and must actively share in the responsibility for learning

  2. High expectations build confident, self-directed lifelong learners

  3. The family and community should have a positive influence on students' learning

     

MES DAILY SCHEDULE: (for 2020-2021)

  1. 7:30 Arrival of first bus.Doors open to public. All students report directly to their homeroom to eat breakfast.

  2. 7:40 Instructional day begins.

  3. 10:30 Kindergarten Lunch

  4. 11:10 First grade Lunch

  5. 11:50 Second grade Lunch

  6. 11:35 Pre-school (Taylor/Mongold) Lunch

  7. 12:05 Pre-school (McGregor/Whetzel) Lunch

  8. 12:01 Kindergarten has specials/enrichment.

  9. 12:30 1st grade has specials/enrichment.

  10. 12:59 2nd grade has specials/enrichment.

  11. 1:30 Car riders report to the gym to be dismissed. Early bus riders are dismissed from lower (north) doors.

  12. 1:40 Teachers escort students to the buses.  

  13. 3:25 Staff dismissed for the day.
