GREAT NEWS!!! Your child is eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge. Your child will be able to participate in these meal programs without needing to pay a fee or submit a meal application.
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and School Meal Payment Information
The CEP program will remain in effect for all schools in Hardy County during the 2021-22 school year. All students will receive meals at no charge.
Hardy County Schools continues to collect on outstanding bills owed prior to CEP. If you currently owe a bill for your child’s meals, you may pay online at SchoolCafe.com, in person at the Board office, or by mailing a check or money order to the child’s school or Board office. If you are experiencing difficulty in paying past due amounts, call the child nutrition office at 304-530-2348, extension 9223, in order to make payment arrangements to defer litigation. Unpaid bills that are forwarded to the Magistrate’s office reflect negatively on credit reports as well as create additional charges from court costs.

Various information regarding nutrition education, nutrition activities, recipes, and wellness are located at this site. Monthly menus are also available which contain nutritional information. If you would like to be notified when these menus are available, you may sign up on the website for notification (download the app). When the menus become available, you will receive a text. Menus are also listed on Hardynet’s TV station as well as in the Moorefield Examiner each month. Please note that it may become necessary for a school to change or revise menus, according to food service provider issues or seasonal items.
