Recently the MHS National Honor Society hosted a canned food drive as part of the Hardy County Canned Food Drive sponsored by Judy Ball, State Farm Insurance. Classes competed to bring in the most items. Mrs. Vetter-Crites’ first block band class and Mrs. Jackie See’s first block class each contributed over 300 items. One senior MHS student, Cesar Lopez, donated over 200 items. We want to thank all that participated, allowing us to donate over 1,000 non-perishable food items to the county drive. A special thanks to Cesar and his family for their generosity.
