WVFCCLA State Leadership Conference and Competitive Events was held this week at WVSU in Institute. Returning to school today are the 14 Moorefield High School FCCLA Chapter members who represented our 178-member strong chapter. Please join us in congratulating Madison Thomas as the 2022-23 State President, Carter Combs as the 2022-23 State 1st Vice President, Glorianis Rivera-Gonzalez as the 2022-23 Stare Vice President of State Programs. These three exceptional leaders will begin their duties at the 58th National Leadership Conference in San Diego June 26-July 4.Showcasing their CTE leadership, service, and skill at the WVFCCLA Competitive Events were Brooke Cost, Alex Gilbert, Destiny Sparks, Carter Combs, Haley Fultz, Bailey Coleman, Kalin Collins, Kaeley Kerns, Trae Minor, Grayce Ketterman, Glory Rivera-Gonzalez, Destiny Smith, and Camyrn Tawney.
Advancing to National Competitive Events during the upcoming 58th FCCLA National Leadership Conference in San Diego June 26-July 4 are Camyrn Tawney in Career Investigation; Bailey Coleman and Karly Kerns in Professional Presentation; and Trae Minor, Glory Rivera-Gonzalez, and Destiny Smith in Hospitality, Culinary and Recreation Management.
