Calendar Embedded PD/CE Dates
Schools exist to facilitate student learning. Ongoing professional staff development for all personnel is essential. Professional staff development should be a continuous developmental process ultimately based on staff needs.
In accordance with State Board policy 5500, all employees, both service and professional, are required to be provided Professional Development/Continuing Education. For the 2019-20 school year, the dates are embedded in the school calendar as follows:
August 12, 2019 (6 hours)
August 15, 2019 (6hours)
October 18, 2019 (3 hours)
January 2, 2020 (6 hours)
January 3, 2020 (6 hours)
