Buses in Wardensville may be running late this morning due to traffic issues related to a tractor trailer blocking portions of the road. All buses are still running.
We were so glad to see our students again yesterday! We held a "Welcome Back" assembly. Staff acted out skits for students to review the PAWS expectations. Students participated in the activity by telling teachers what behaviors needed corrected in the skits. We also introduced the EHES vision and mission statements that guide us.

Tomorrow, Thursday December 22, will be a non traditional instructional day for Hardy County Schools due to impending weather. Schools will be closed for winter break December 23 through January 4.

Due to trees being down, EH bus 51 driven by Chad Fitzwater will pick up any students that live on Funkhouser Road at M and L Trucking at 7:45 am Monday morning.

Thursday, October 27th from 5:00-6:00 pm is EHES Trunk or Treat in the upper parking lot.
Red Ribbon Week is October 24-28. Students are invited to dress up for the theme of each day.
Plan ahead for these days with changes to the normal schedule.

Family Literacy Night event for Pre-K - 2nd grade on October 6th
PTO meeting - Monday, October 3rd at 6:00 in the EHES library. We hope to see you there!
Family Literacy Night for grades PreK-2 will be Thursday, October 6th from 5-6 pm at East Hardy Elementary School. You can stop by anytime during that hour for fun family activities.
Anyone willing to serve on the Parent Advisory Committee this year is asked to please attend our first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27th at 3:15 PM at EHES.
