Registration for the 2025-2026 Hardy County Virtual School program is now open! All new and returning students must register for next school year using the online form that's available on Facebook and the Hardy County Schools website. Paper copies of the form can picked up at your child's school. The early registration window closes May 15 so please take the time to submit your form now.

Family Math Night
MIS Students and Staff got to celebrate Earth Day today by creating the MIS Kindness Garden. Students will now be able to obtain leadership positions for years to come for the care and maintenance of the garden. Plants coming soon....stay tuned!

The students in Mrs. Wagner's class are now published authors! They spent several weeks illustrating and writing their book, "The Wild and Crazy ABC Animals"! This was a fun and creative project that they will have to treasure.

Communities In Schools at MIS is looking forward to kicking off our GROW KINDNESS FLOWER GARDEN project on Tuesday. Students have been assembling 4 raised beds. MMS students unloaded soil for us. Thank you!

Our 4th Grade Reading Challenge was a HUGE success! 🎉 Students who read 5 or more grade-appropriate books earned their way into an EGG-citing Easter Egg Hunt! 🐣💥But wait—there’s more! For every chunk of pages read, students earned a delicious part of their very own Build a Sundae treat! 🍨📖

Mrs. Wagner's class has been learning all about the solar system. They made clay models of the planets and their very own solar system! It's unanimous, Earth is the best! 🌎
