Congratulations to the winners of the December Race to the Hive. These classes had the highest attendance for their grade level.
This is a friendly reminder that all employees return to work tomorrow. Students have a non-traditional instructional day on Tuesday and will work from home. Students return to in person learning on Wednesday.

Hardy County Schools will dismiss three hours early on Tuesday, December 23 to officially kick off winter break. Please note that we have made a change in our original calendar and January 6 will now be an NTID which means that students will work from home that day and staff will report. Students will return to in person learning on January 7, 2026. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Hardy County Schools will operate on a THREE Hour Delay for Monday, December 15, 2025 due to predicted windchill for tomorrow morning.
Due to the cancellation of school today, the MIS Holiday Family Fun Fair is cancelled for this evening. The event will be postponed to a later date, likely next week. We will share that information when it becomes available. Thank you and have a safe day.
Hardy County Schools will be closed for Thursday, December 11, 2025 due to conditions of back roads and continuing snow squalls. This is free snow day #2.
