📚 MIS I-Ready Testing Schedule Next week, students in grades 3-5 will complete their I-Ready assessments. * Tuesday: Math I-Ready * Wednesday: ELA I-Ready * Thursday and Friday: Make-up testing 💻 Virtual Students – Grades 3-5 Virtual students will need to report to MIS on the following day to test: * Friday at 8:00 AM These tests provide important information that helps us identify student strengths, areas for growth, and instructional needs throughout the school year. Thank you for your support in getting your child to school and prepared to test on these days. State Benchmark testing will then be held in two weeks. Information about that testing will be posted after this testing is completed.

MIS is proud to once again work with PCB to offer our students Bank at School. Students can open an account through PCB and then each month they will be at our school for students to bring in their money and make deposits. Start learning to save early on, life skills! Attached is the schedule of dates they will be at MIS this year!

MIS teachers and staff were back in action today. The day kicked off with some breakfast and time to reconnect with one another! Then back to work.... Don't forget meet the teacher night is Thursday August 20 from 4-6pm.

Huge shout out to all those families who came to MIS Ready to Learn day! We appreciate you coming in, completing paperwork, completing surveys, and meeting a few staff members. We hope you feel today was a success for you as well. Students enjoyed receiving free math or reading games and getting backpacks full of supplies from Gabe. Thank you for coming in and we will see you at meet the teacher August 20th.

MIS would like to send out a huge thank you to Gabe for coming in today and providing backpacks to the students of Hardy County!! What an exciting way to begin the school year and great opportunity for our students to meet a former WVU basketball star who is dedicated to the success of our students.

Emergency Prescribed Medication Parental Requirements **Important Information- WVBE Policy-10.1.g-Medication Administration- requires emergency prescribed medications be available in the school building WITH a Hardy County School Medication Order form completed by both the guardian and the doctor PRIOR to attending school. ** If a student requires emergency medications, they may NOT attend school without the medication AND completed order form.
