Moorefield Intermediate is proud to present the 2nd Annual Macy's Day Parade. The real Macy's Day Parade began in 1924 and has become a beloved tradition filled with giant balloons, music, and holiday excitement. MIS student have been reading and writing in connection with their unit on Balloons Over Broadway. This combined project from Ms. Billmeyer's reading classes and Mrs. Shanholtz's writing classes has created lots of excitement with the 4th grade students. Today we could not be more proud of showing off their culminating projects.
Please enjoy the parade through multiple MIS posts today!

MIS had the honor of welcoming author Max Brallier to our school today! The award winning author has wrote numerous children's series, has published series through Netflix and is currently working on bringing a book series to life through Disney. Thanks to the hard work and connection with Word Play of Wardensville for bringing in the author. Also, through sponsorship by Pendleton Community Bank each student got to take home a copy of Max's new book "The Last Kids on Earth and the Destructor's Lair." This book is released to the public tomorrow, so your child has a copy before it is even released to the public.
Thanks to everyone who made this experience possible for our students!
