5th Grade Promotion
Hardy County Schools will be closed on May 12, 2026 for Election Day.
Finishing out the last day of teacher appreciation week a huge shoutout to Capon Valley Bank for treating the staff to a delicious lunch from Miller’s BBQ & Grill! 🍖 The pulled pork, mac & cheese, and green beans were the perfect midday fuel.
Also, a big thank you for the new pen holder! It’s already helping keep things tidy. We are so lucky to have such a supportive partners in Moorefield! 🏦✨

Yearbook Deadline approaching
We celebrated our fabulous nurses for Nurse Appreciation Day! We are so lucky to have such caring individuals helping our students each and every day!
Our staff felt so spoiled today! We want to give a massive shoutout to The Sip Spot for the delicious specialty drinks this morning (sponsored by Ace Hardware)—the "Pink Highlighter" was definitely a fan favorite! 💖🥤
And the treats didn't stop there! A giant thank you to Burke & Herbert Bank for providing an incredible lunch spread. We all loved the subs, pasta, from O’Neils and cookies from Subway! 🍪🥖As an extra special treat, each staff member also received a coffee mug and chocolate from the bank—the perfect way to end the day! 🍫☕️
We are so lucky to have such supportive community partners. Our bellies (and hearts) are full!
