Our EHES School Counselor is asking for some assistance to identify our military families in order to better provide support for those students. If you are a military spouse or are a relative of a current military member who has children attending EHES, please contact Miss Penny at pmorgan@k12.wv.us or call the school at (304) 897-5970.

Hardy County Schools has made changes to the calendar for this school year. Below is a list of the changes and the updated calendar.
January 3 – PL Day/No School for Students
January 22- PL Day/No School for Students
March 11 - PL Day/No School for Students
April 5 – Changes to an NTID day. Staff and Students work from home.

We got the fair late in the week & I just got home from setting up.

The fair is open all week 12:00-3:00 and Wednesday evening also from 3:00-6:00. Items will have 6% tax added to them.

Hardy County Schools will have a three hour late arrival on Monday, September 25 for our first Teacher Learning Teams meetings of the year. Please note that school will begin three hours LATE.

Wednesday, September 20th is picture day. Students need to bring money to order pictures.

EH Bus Change for Friday afternoon only:
Eberly's Bus 62 PM run for 9/1 will be a late run and will be 45 minutes late bringing kids home. Parents that prefer to pick students up from school need to send a note with your child to school tomorrow.

Student transfer forms are now due. If your child transfers in from out of county or transfers from one side of the county to another, it's time to submit the annual transfer form. The form is now an online submission and can be found by going to www.hardycountyschools.com, selecting menu, then forms. Please call 304-530-2348 if you have any questions.

The Eastern Regional Family Resource Network is hosting Celebrate the Family this Saturday, June 10th, from 10 AM until 1 PM at Brighton Park. There will be free food, games, activities, and many great community resources. All are welcome!

Friday, May 26 is now a full day of school for all students. Monday, May 29 there will be no school for students or staff in observance of Memorial Day. Tuesday, May 30 is a three hour early release for all students and is the last day of school for the 22–23 school year.

Hardy County Schools will dismiss three hours early on Wednesday, May 10 for Learning Teams meetings.

The West Virginia University School of Dentistry strives to recruit talented West Virginia students who desire to become dentists. We are pleased to offer a dental career exploration program uniquely designed for West Virginia students entering 6th-8th grade in the fall.
Brush with Dentistry is a workshop to help students learn about dental career opportunities. The program will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the WVU School of Dentistry in Morgantown from 10:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Program features include hands-on laboratory activities, a dental school tour, and much more.
Each student must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian. There is no registration fee, and lunch will be provided at no cost. However, workshop participants are responsible for their transportation to attend this event.
Brush with Dentistry is available to 20 eligible West Virginia middle school students on a first-come, first-served basis. Program information and registration are available at go.wvu.edu/brushwithdentistry. The application deadline is May 31, 2023.
