Due to the icy conditions of back roads in Hardy County as well as the below zero projected windchills for tomorrow morning, Hardy County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Hardy County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Due to the current weather conditions throughout the county, Hardy County Schools will be utilizing NTID #2 for January 9,2024. Students and staff will work from home. Stay safe!

Hardy County Schools will operate on a two hour delay for Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

MIS Students will be working from home tomorrow January 8. Students are to complete items from their choice boards as given to them previously by teachers. (Attached you will find 3rd 4th and 5th grade boards in case you have misplaced them)

Christmas Around the World in Miss Wells’ Class! Students learned about Christmas in each country this week. They made posters and ornaments that represented their country! Such a neat cultural experience for them!

All of our grades had some great activities going on today! 5th grade had some grinch fun, 4th grade had pjs and activities about books they read in class, and 3rd grade even partook in a hot chocolate bar.









Mrs. Sions class got to join in on the Gingerbread Math fun today! What great creations and so much practical mathematics!











Third Grade students applied real life math lessons today as they used skills in money, addition, subtraction, multiplication, tables, drawing, construction, ledgers, etc. to complete their Gingerbread Math Houses. They looked great! 😁
