Monday, 01/31 is a three hour early dismissal for teacher professional development.

Travis Weatherholtz’s bus 46 will not be running Monday, 01/24. Students from this bus will be excused if they cannot make it to school. We apologize! If you’re interested in becoming a sub bus driver give us a call!

The mobile learning bus will be available on-site at Moorefield Elementary School as an outdoor classroom. We plan to take the bus to various locations after-school hours so students have a place to continue learning after school or to complete homework.
The mobile learning bus will be equipped with supplies to do experiments with the students. Engineering projects with Legos and popsicle sticks will allow students to be creative.
The bus will be supplied with books for the activities the students are interested in reading about and gaining more knowledge.
We will focus on fitness and music. Students will learn how to stay fit with items like hula hoops and jump ropes.
There will also be art opportunities. They will be drawing and painting.


REMINDER - According to the MES student handbook, face paint and hair coloring are not permitted. Please be sure to remove all coloring before returning to school after any events.

Moorefield Elementary will open the doors at 7:40 a.m. and students will begin instruction at 7:50 a.m.

If you were not able to attend yesterday, MES will hold a second Ready to Learn Day at Moorefield Elementary School on July 28 from 9am - 3pm.
